What better site to host the visionary ideas of George Lucas than Chicago Lakeside? Mr. Lucas changed the shape of cinematography through the Star Wars franchise; captured the imagination of audiences through his multiple masterpieces; and advanced filmmaking through Lucasfilm’s numerous technical innovations. We invite George Lucas to join Lakeside’s vision for the future of Chicago.
A Call to Action
In an effort to identify the best potential site for the Lucas Cultural Arts Museum, the City of Chicago has launched a website (http://cityofchicago.org/lucasmuseum) to field public comments and suggestions.
If you're a believer, please take a moment to nominate/endorse Lakeside in bringing the museum to the South Shore.
Also please come show your support at the public hearing on Wednesday in the Chicago Cultural Center’s Preston-Bradley Hall from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.
